  • Followed Directions, worked on tasks assigned. Works independently without constant direct supervision & direction from instructor.
  • Listened Actively. Used good body language, made eye contact, didn't interrupt. NO CELL PHONE--INCLUDING TEXTING!!
  • Asked appropriate questions. Indicated understanding by answering questions, or asking questions involving analysis and thought. Indoor voice.
  • Exhibits behaviors expected of young adults in group situations. Is a positive leader. (Not rude to people). Cooperates in all ways possible.
  • Doesn't blurt, listens without talking to instructor as well as other students, contributes positively to group discussions
  • This will help determine your participation grade. This can be an wasy way to score points, it can also be a drag on your overall score. It's your decision.
  • You & the instructor will score yourself on a 1-5 scale, with 5 being excellent, 1 being poor/unacceptable. The instructor will make final determinations.
**Pick two of the top six points. Write a paragraph on each point discussing ways in which you would like to focus on them & perhaps grow & get better in that category. Write a third paragraph about what class participation overall means to you and how you feel you can make a positive impact on the class.
